Last updated: August 12, 2026 ## How to read this log This page records releases that change public data, validator behavior, trust pages or methodology. It does not list every copy edit, style adjustment or page rebuild. Material factual corrections remain in the [corrections ledger](/corrections/). Use it when you need to understand why a dataset changed, why a validator receipt looks different, or whether a methodology update affects comparisons between releases. The entries are intentionally operational, not promotional. ## 2026-08-12: evidence and verification release - Published the Trust Center: methodology, editorial policy, corrections ledger, citation guidance and press information. - Published the Observatory release manifest, CSV and status endpoint derived from the fixed-panel source files. - Added a live public verification endpoint and embeddable badge. A verification reports the response checked, validator version and timestamp; it does not certify AI use. - Added `publishingPrinciples` and editorial correction contact data to the site-wide Organization schema. ## 2026-08-12: source and scope refresh - Updated Google and AI-crawler guidance to distinguish documented product behavior from unverified automatic discovery. - Recorded the current v2 discovery snapshot: 294 linked pages checked from 113 analyzed files. ## 2026-08-03: fixed-panel snapshot - Published the latest fixed-panel measurement: 113 of 218 reachable hosts served a qualifying file. - Updated the directory and structural file insights.
