# Corrections ledger

A public record for material factual corrections. New entries distinguish content corrections from tool, dataset and method releases.

Last updated: August 12, 2026

## How to report a correction

Send the page URL, the statement at issue and a primary source to [info@llmtxt.info](mailto:info@llmtxt.info). A correction is material when it changes a factual claim, a source, a measurement, a
limitation or a published tool behavior.

## What is in scope

The ledger covers factual changes that could affect a reader's technical decision: a misstated
behavior, an obsolete source, an incorrect date, an error in a measurement, or a tool result
whose public explanation changed. Small wording edits, grammar fixes and layout changes stay out
of the ledger unless they alter meaning.

## How entries are written

Each entry names the affected page or component, the date, and the nature of the change. When a
source is involved, the corrected page should cite the source directly instead of forcing
readers to infer it from this ledger.

The absence of an entry means no material correction has been recorded for the public site at
this time. It does not mean that every external source is permanent, so readers should still use
the cited primary links on the page they are checking.

## Current ledger
Date Scope Record 2026-08-12 Ledger Public corrections process published. This is a governance release, not a correction to
a prior factual claim.
Dataset and validator changes are recorded in the [changelog](/changelog/). A page
update date alone does not imply that a correction occurred.
