For the reporting method, see [methodology](/methodology/). ## When to use it Use the receipt when you need a shareable proof of the public response seen by llmtxt.info at a specific time. It is useful after publishing a new file, changing a redirect, updating headers or checking that a public badge still reflects the current endpoint. ## What it does not prove The receipt does not prove that any AI system consumed the file, ranked the site differently or trusted the linked pages. It only records a narrow public fetch and the syntax checks returned by this validator version. A useful workflow is to run the receipt after publishing, save the URL with your deployment notes, then re-run it after redirects, headers or sitemap generation change. Treat different results as debugging evidence, not as an authority or ranking score.
